Senior Assisted Living

Free Assisted Living Placement Assessment

Senior assisted living combines independent living in a residential community with a variety of support services and healthcare. While it is a relatively new concept, it happens to be the fastest growing long-term care option for seniors.

Senior assisted living residents can still enjoy an independent lifestyle, but they will have various levels of assistance on hand to fit their needs. An individualized service plan is developed for each resident when they arrive, and that plan can change anytime the need arises. Items that they may need help with are:

  • Everyday activities
  • Personal care
  • Incontinence
  • Medication management
  • Cognitive disorders (such as Alzheimer’s)
We provide you with resources and help you create a short list or possible communities based on your needs and budget

Independant Living

Independent living is another option. These communities are designed exclusively for seniors, those aged 55 and over. Housing varies widely from apartment-style living to freestanding homes. In general, the housing is well designed for older adults, often being more compact and easier to navigate, with landscaping maintenance included.

Other terms that refer to these types of communities:

  • Retirement communities
  • Retirement homes
  • Senior housing
  • Senior apartments

In some arrangements, these facilities will have meals provided and activities for their residents to enjoy as much or as little as they want.

We Match You With The Right In-Home Caregiver

We take matching each of our clients with an in-home caregiver seriously. We listen closely to your loved one’s needs: what they can do on their own, personality, what language they speak and more. We want to know whether they would prefer someone quieter and gentler than someone that is expressive and sociable.

Taking all of these details into consideration is just one of the differences that set us apart from other in-home health caregivers.

Senior Assisted Living Costs

As you can imagine, senior assisted living costs are varied from place to place, and all of it is dependent on the level of assistance required. Should you decide to choose us as your in-home senior care provider, we bill hourly, with a minimum of four hours per day. Our hourly rate depends on the level of care that we provide. The number of hours you require is flexible, and you can change it at any time that is convenient for you.
